Back to In-person lessons!

As of June 15th, I am back to teaching lessons in person.  Masks are not required, though I will continue to sanitize my hands and the piano between families and will ask students to sanitize their hands as they come in.  I will continue to offer virtual lessons or hybrid lessons (some virtual, some in person) for those who choose.  

I have a few openings for private lessons during the day starting in August.  Contact me to schedule a free trial lesson!

Depending on interest, I will start a pre-k/kinder music class with at least 4 but no more than 6 students.  Please contact me to be placed on an interest list.  

2020/21 school year will begin with virtual lessons

Hello families and prospective students!  Unfortunately we are still dealing with COVID-19 and the social distancing regulations that go along with it.  I was hopeful that we could return to in-person lessons in August because being in the same room makes it so much easier to share learning tools, make corrections and see your progress.  However, it is apparent that more distancing is needed and I am working to find better ways to engage students online.  My openings will be limited to start with as I am also needing to facilitate my five school-aged children's learning for the time being.  I will likely be holding lessons in the afternoons as long as they are distance learning at home and then possibly moving some students to earlier in the day if/when they return to their schools.  I appreciate your flexibility on this and I hope to resume in person lessons as soon as possible!

Attention Sky Mountain Charter students!

Good news!  I have been officially approved as a vendor for Sky Mountain Charter school!  I would love to see some of my same families from a few years back and look forward to meeting more.  Please contact me for availability.  I am also approved to teach for Inspire Charter School and its subsidiaries. 

Lessons and classes will resume in September!

After four years of time off to attend to my family, I am ready to begin teaching lessons again!  Due to the needs of my large family, I will only be able to teach Tuesday through Thursday and will need to be done teaching by 3:00 p.m.  My schedule is ideal for independent learning or homeschooled children and I am currently going through the process of becoming a vendor for Sky Mountain and Inspire charter schools.  This year, if there is enough interest, I plan to add one or two preschool music classes per week and an elementary group voice class.  These classes will be designed to prepare children who are not yet developmentally ready to start private piano or voice lessons.  I will be making an interest list and when I have 5-6 students, I will schedule the class.  Please call or e-mail me for more information.
